From business cards to brochures, small format printing can make a huge impact on your marketing strategy! The collateral that you are handing out is a direct representation of your business, therefore you want to make sure that it is of the best quality. Below are a few tips to ensure your next small format job turns out perfect:
Paper Quality
For small format jobs, there are options when it comes to the paper type used for your job. If printing a simple flyer to hang, we suggest cardstock which is cost-effective and durable. For wedding invitations, we offer Snow Willow which is a thicker, pearlescent paper that will be sure to make a statement for your big day! Be sure to talk to your salesman for samples of paper weights and the qualities that we offer!
File Type
When submitting your file to be printed, we prefer to have it saved as an Adobe PDF in its final, most perfect version! To ensure that the finished product is high quality, we also prefer high-resolution images.
Design Layout + Image Properties
When designing your small format job, there are a few things to consider! First, make sure that you are utilizing CMYK colors to ensure that the final, printed product looks like the image you provide. If you are submitting artwork for a brochure or pamphlet, please include fold or perforation lines in your design. Lastly, be sure that your final images include a .125” bleed line on all four sides!
